This wine was crafted from fruit grown on the Meola Estate Vineyard in Alexander Valley.
Mario Meola was one of the first vignerons to put Sonoma County’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon appellation on the world wine map.

At a low yield of 2 tons per acre, these grapes were hand harvested and sorted at 25° brix then fermented on their native yeast in open top fermenters. Hand punch downs were executed three times daily and the wine was then barrel aged for 24 months in a combination of French and American oak. Only 200 cases were produced.
